Wizz Air Ukraine Airlines opened the second base in Donetsk. One of medium-range aircraft Airbus A320 possessed by the company will be based in the city airport (Pegasus is another low-cost airlines in Donetsk) .
“Wizz Air Ukraine opened its base in Donetsk today. It became the second Ukrainian base of the airlines following the base in Kyiv. The airlines also received its fourth aircraft. It will be based at the Donetsk airport. The new aircraft Airbus A320 will fulfill four new flights from Donetsk to Milan (Bergamo), Rome (Fiumicino), London (Luton) and Munich (Memmingen), as well continue servicing the routes to Kutaisi and Dortmund,” the airport press service informed.
The first flight from the new base in Donetsk was performed to Kutaisi with 139 passengers onboard.
“Wizz Air Ukraine is included into a group of Wizz Air companies, which is the largest low cost air carrier in Central and Southern Europe. The airlines operates four medium-range aircraft Airbus A320 and performs flights from four Ukrainian airports in 27 directions to 11 countries.
