Wizz Air Ukraine will start performing flights on the Donetsk-Larnaca route in March 2014, the airline’s press service has reported.
“Today Wizz Air Ukraine announced the launch of new flights from Donetsk to Larnaca (Cyprus). Flights on this route will begin on March 30, 2014. The flights will initially be conducted twice a week. This flight by Wizz Air Ukraine is the first direct flight between Donetsk and Cyprus,” the press service reported.
Wizz Air Ukraine currently conducts flights from Donetsk to Kutaisi, Dortmund, Memmingen, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Bergamo and London Luton. With the launch of flights to Larnaca, Wizz Air Ukraine will service seven international low-cost flights from Donetsk.
Wizz Air Ukraine, part of the Wizz Air group, operates four Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 seats and performs flights from four Ukrainian airports to 11 countries. The airline has two bases in Ukraine: in Kyiv (Zhuliany) and Donetsk. In April 2014, Wizz Air Ukraine plans to open its third base – in Lviv.
