Ukraine plans to start building of a railway line from the city of Lviv to the border with Poland, according to Maxim Bourbak, Ukraine’s Ministry of Infrastructure.
He has also added that the project has already been supported by the EU. It is planned that the new railway line will connect Lviv with Warsaw and Przemysl.
Total volume of investments in the project is estimated at EUR 500 million. Part of the funds for the project is expected to be provided by the EU banks.
