Ukraine First National Cheese Holiday

On October 19-20, 2013, at the National Expocenter of Ukraine in Kyiv the First National Cheese Holiday will take place. The event will feature several sections presenting tastings for children, families, lovers, and cheese worshippers. Moreover, the guests will have an opportunity to learn how to pick cheese and wine, how to cook various dishes using cheese. They can also participate in the games, themed entertainments and more. Numerous Ukrainian milk producers will join the event in Kyiv.

The children will be invited to play with toys and Lego, put on colorful aqua makeup, enjoy milk bowling, and even participate in the milking of a cow. While the kids will have fun in the amusement section, adults will be able to walk down the crafts alley featuring artwork by artists from all over the country. Fondu with crackers, cheese sticks with notes inside, and a wish tree (place to hang your note with a wish you wrote down) will also be available at the event.

The event is organized by the I Love Milk project of the Milk Producers Association of Ukraine. The project aims to popularize milk consumption across the country.
