By results of the campaign on declaration of incomes and the property state, the millionaires, whose number reaches 3,770 in Ukraine, declared UAH 24 billion. Another four citizens declared incomes to the amount of more than UAH 1 billion.
The Revenues and Duties Ministry press service told Ukrinform about this.
“By results of this year campaign on declaration of incomes and the property state by citizens, almost 665,000 declarations were submitted to the Revenues and Duties Ministry totaling UAH 48.7 billion. Out of these, almost half, or UAH 24 billion, was declared by millionaires, whose number in Ukraine, according to the Ministry, makes up 3,770. Another four citizens declared incomes to the amount over UAH 1 billion,” a statement reads.
To remind, the declaration campaign by results of 2012 started since January 1, 2013, and completed May 1, 2013.
As the press service noted, during this year’s declaration campaign, the Revenues and Duties Ministry for the first time offered a service on submitting electronic declarations of income and the property state. Next year, the Ministry is planning to send a notification to taxpayers about the need to declare incomes and the property state by e-mail.
As reported by Ukrinform, in 2012, 2,291 natural persons declared incomes exceeding UAH 1 million, total amount of received income by the designated persons made up UAH 15.1 billion. Therefore, 1,479 millionaires up became in Ukraine over the year.
